This marquee fly-in program is the leading export/import forum on
North America
’s west coast. This one-day event is attended by more than a 1,000
individuals who gather to take part in everything from the dynamic
trade show floor and the focused curriculum of export/import related
training workshops to the International Export/Import Executive
Luncheon where attendees hear from policy and industry leaders about
the latest policy directions and trends in the industry. It provides
attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to make critical connections
and increase their opportunity for future success globally.
Gateway California

Trade Show
This leading export/import trade show on North America’s west coast
features everything from countries, global regions, companies,
organizations, domestic locations and information about assets and
services that are critical to importing and exporting on the west
coast of North America and through
California
into one trade show floor. It is produced in a means that
provides attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to make critical
connections and increase their opportunity for future global success.
Executive Luncheon
At our first annual International Export/Import Executive Luncheon,
the Northern California World Trade Center will honor many of
California’s top international trading partner countries and will
present a program that features speakers highlighting both
California’s strategic position in global trade and how the United
States plans to aggressively work with governments and the private
sector to double exports within the next five years and in the process
create two million new jobs.
Workshops
This curriculum of international trade-related training workshops will
provide experienced international business professionals with the
opportunity to further their knowledge, skills and connections in
order to successfully compete in a constantly changing global
marketplace. This unique program is offered with assistance from
qualified international consultants and professionals from
Northern California
companies currently doing business overseas.

INTERNATIONAL
TRADING PARTNER SERIES
Come connect with one of the
United State’s top trading partners, Mexico, at the next
International Trading Partner Series event. We will hear a
presentation from Jose Mario Juarez Lopez de Nava, Trade
Commissioner for ProMexico, the Mexican federal agency that runs
trade offices outside of Mexico. ProMexico is the Mexican Government
institution in charge of strengthening Mexico’s participation in
the international economy. With this objective in mind, the
institution supports the export activity of companies established in the country and
coordinates actions to attract foreign direct investment to national
territory.
At
the first series, participants heard from Thierry Weissenburger, who
is the Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Consulate
General of Canada and Tian
Deyou,
Consul and Director of
Economic & Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General at
the second ITPS event.
The
NorCalWTC is hosting the International Trading Partners Series as a
means to provide an opportunity to learn from and interact directly with international trade
representatives of some of Californians top international trading partners.
This setting allows for a personal environment for participants
to directly network and discuss possible business opportunities with both US
Government export executives and international governmental trading representatives.
In
2010 this series is made up of six events that each highlight one of
the top 10 trading partners with
California
. The NorCalWTC is working
in conjunction with our local Department of Commerce office ensure attendees have
the opportunity to learn about additional
services that are offered to help American companies export.
As
an additional effort to help connect attendees with resources, each
attendee will be offered the opportunity for a free Metro Pulse interview to help identify additional needs and
connect them with economic development resources regionally.
