Ron Brown joined the Port of Oakland in 2004 to help develop a marketing campaign to large international importers and exporters. Ron regularly meets with international visitors seeking business relationships with U.S. market leaders. He consults with logistics companies, transportation companies, and maritime support service providers to assist with the movement of cargo through U.S. Port gateways. Ron serves on the Port’s Deferred Compensation Committee and has served two terms as the President of the Port’s chapter of International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers.
